The winter 2009-2010 call for proposals
Weaving links between the generations
For its fifth call for proposals, Louis Bonduelle Foundation received 71 submissions and is giving its support to 10 projects! 20% of the projects relate to links between generations, 30% target families and 24% children.

- Inter-university health service of Clermont Ferrand - France - département 63 : Kitchen workshops on knowledge, preparation and eating of fruit and vegetables, addressed at 2,300 young people living in the university campus (18-25 years old) and registered in an overall awareness-raising programme, called "Clever Eating".
- Comerbi Association - France - département 34 : The health professionals of the Béziers region support overweight children and their families through the "Health Crunch" network, which combines medical care and the organisation of practical workshops. The last element in this system is kitchen workshops on vegetables and fruit aimed at 120 families.
- Federation of Slovene Pensioners Associations - Slovenia - Ljubljana : A roadshow with local organisations offering documentation, workshops and meetings with a team of health professionals and social workers. The project concerns 10,000 elderly people and its high point will be the participation in October 2010 in the international ageing days.
- Rural Families Association - France - département 62: Awareness-raising actions concerning the eating of vegetables and fruit organised during the summer activities reception: games, meals, meetings, workshops… The activities take place over 6 weeks with 70 children aged from 3 to 14.
- Dr Hocine Zidani – Algeria: Creation and distribution of 10,000 copies of a guide to health through vegetables, enabling health professionals' preventive actions to be relayed to patients.
- "La Passerelle" Sociocultural Centre - France - département 33 : Programme for nutritional support of vulnerable families around specially tailored meetings, kitchen workshops and support whilst purchasing foods.
- Regional Environmental and Social Solidarity Centre (MRES) - France - département 59 : Production of an educational tool called "From my plate to the planet", enabling French and Belgian social facilitators and teachers to address environmental protection and sustainable development through eating.
- "Jeunes Pousses" Association - Canada - Quebec : The programme "A treasure in my garden" aims to improve the eating behaviour and environments of children aged 4 to 12 in underprivileged environments. It involves educators, teachers and caterers, and is centred around kitchen gardens.
- "Aux goûts du jour" Association - France - département 29: Organisation of play-based and educational inter-generational workshops addressed at 880 people. The project "Secrets of vegetables" is built around an awakening of the senses and around the social link.
- "Les sens du goût" Association - France - département 59: Creation of workshops for exchanges between professionals and sponsors of projects relating to eating, in order to promote and develop sensory education aimed at children.
