An exhibition and conference from the Louis Bonduelle Foundation at European Parliament
09 December 2011
On 22 November 2011, the Louis Bonduelle Foundation organised a conference at the European Parliament in Brussels, under the patronage of Mrs Sophie Auconie, MEP.
Some forty people attended and exchanged views with the speakers on the theme of:
Eat Well to Live Well?
The impact of new living and eating habits on the health of Europeans
Various European figures (MEPs, European Commission members, researchers) debated diverse questions such as: What links are there between the new living and eating habits, on the one hand, and human health, on the other? Are the next generations of Europeans going to be condemned to suffer widely from food-related illnesses? etc.
The conference was followed by the opening of the exhibition "Healthy Eating for All", under the patronage of Mr Michel Dantin, MEP. This exhibition was held at the entrance to the MEPs' restaurant in the European Parliament in Brussels. The Louis Bonduelle Foundation was thus able to present its activities: to inform, support research and act in the field according to the different categories of people it supports (children, people in low-income groups, older people). This exhibition allowed European stakeholders to get to know the Louis Bonduelle Foundation.
