Red cabbage with gratined bacon

      Ingredient

      • ½ minced red cabbage  
      • 100 g smoked bacon
      • 50 g grated emmental
      • A little meat broth or roast meat juice
      • Salt, pepper

        

        Recipe

        Cut the bacon in small dices.
        In a roasting pan, bake the bacon in low heat so that it slightly melts.
        Add red cabbage and wet with roast meat juice and very little water. Salt and pepper. Let bake softly until the juice was reduced by half. Put in a plate and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake until gratined for 15 minutes at 200°C.

         

        Tip

        This gratined cabbage can accompany pork under any form.
