You think that fresh vegetables require too much time of preparation? With washing, peeling and baking, time goes by quickly! Why not use vegetables which are already washed and peeled? They can be frozen (plain, no added salt), canned (generally only salted) or prepared (in galettes or fried or gratined) and, this way, they are quickly ready! Indeed, there are more and more vegetables which are more or less ready to eat. Very often, a mere reheating is enough and sometimes, just a little personal touch – a pinch of turmeric, a little chive or olive oil… and it’s ready! However, don’t think you do not have anything to do anymore! Indeed, your imagination will have to work on the combinations of food, seasonings and tastes to diversify the menus. Add to a frozen carrot purée a little sour cream and a pinch of cumin; add to the tomato coulis in brick, which usually accompanies your pasta, a little olive oil and frozen basil leaves; fry your canned mushrooms with a few minced onions and frozen parsley to add to your meat.
