Encouraging the cultivation of fruit- and nut-bearing trees!

Acide folique et vitamine B9: quelle est la différence?

The Edible Trees program is providing grants of up to $4,000 and resources to communities who develop projects promoting fruit trees across Canada. Citizens involved in community-based gardening and housing projects, schools, parks and arboretums are eligible for this funding.

This initiative, launched in 2012 by the not-for-profit organization Tree Canada, has already supported the planting of 8,000 fruit and nut trees and shrubs across the country. It provides access to fresh produce and beautifies green spaces while contributing to people’s health and the environment.

The deadline for applications is February 24, 2017.
