Tomatoes filled with cucumber and yoghurt

A fresh and low calorie starter that everyone will enjoy. A perfect recipe for summer evenings spent with friends or family that brings vitamins contributing to the normal functioning of the immune system.

Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 4 light” petits suisses” (fromage frais)
  • 2 cucumbers
  • Mixed herbs
  • Salt and pepper


  • Cut the tomatoes and scoop out the inside. Do not forget to keep the tomato hat.
  • Peel the cucumbers. Grate the first one and dice the second one.
  • In a bowl, mix the low fat yoghurts with cucumbers and some herbs.
  • Let stand a few minutes.
  • Stuff the tomatoes, add salt and pepper. Cover each tomato with a tomato hat.

For a Mediterranean atmosphere, add some black olives to the recipe!A recipe costing less than 5 euros and accessible to all.
