Cucumber sandwich with petit suisse

A creamy and tasty recipe, ideal for festive meals. A fresh taste in the mouth! A starter full of vitamin C that will help to protect cells against oxidative stress and increase the absorption of iron.

Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 2 milk rolls
  • 2 petits suisses
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 mint leaf
  • Olive oil
  • Chives
  • Salt and pepper


  • Chop mint and chives.
  • Dice the cucumber and in a bowl mix with the petits suisses and chopped herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Fill the rolls with the mixture.

The petits suisses can be substituted by soft white cheese. Add 2 tbsp. of lemon juice to get a light point of very pleasant acidity.  A recipe costing less than 5 Euro and accessible to all.
