Corn cob skewer

A friendly recipe to share with friends and family around a camp-fire: make sure not to forget to bring the guitar for a successful evening!  A dish full of fibres to help digestion.

Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 4 corn cobs
  • A little oil
  • Salt and pepper


  • First poach the corn cobs stripped of their leaves.  Place them in a pan of hot water.
  • Once poached, remove them from the pan and grill for 25 to 30 minutes in the oven.
  • Skewer the corn onto 1 skewer for optimum grip.

Serve the corn skewers with grilled meat or fish. For the true gourmands, why not toasting some marshmallows for dessert.   A recipe costing less than 5 Euro and accessible to all.
