Carrot-celery soup

A light starter, low in calories that contains vitamin B9 and beta-carotene which contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.

 Ingredients (serves 4):

  • 1 Cream of carrot/celery
  • 4 servings of cheese (your choice as per your convenience)

Instructions:

  • In a sauce pan melt the cheese portions.
  • Add the cream of carrot and celery to the melted cheese and simmer for a few minutes.

Add garlic clove to flavour the soup and bring finesse and lightness in the mouth.  A recipe costing less than 5 Euro and accessible to all.
